The MKD112D-027-KPO-AN is an MKD motor designed by Bosch Rexroth as part of its industrial automation technologies. The MKD112D-027-KP0-AN has proven to be of use in a wide range of applications that include but not limited to industrial printing and paper manufacturing, mechanically controlled object handling, and food packaging and processing. As part of its features, it is made of unique magnetic materials that inadvertently reduce its inertia mass, making it an extra light weight when compared to similar technologies. 

The technical data for the MKD112D-027-KP0-AN motor are regulated by two overtemperatures, the 60K housing overtemperature and the 100K winding overtemperature, both allow the technical data and the torque-speed relationship to be monitored for accuracy. The IP65 protection of the MKD motor series affords optimal protection for the motor parts, it can therefore be used anytime as it fits well under any environmental condition. This MKD112-027-KP0-AN includes efficient electrical commutation that allows for the optimal usage of the peak torque with an extensive range of motion speed and responsive start-stop motor. Additionally, the MKD112-027-KP0-AN features a natural convection cooling system as well as plug-in connectors for the temperature sensor, holding brake and encoder system. 

With MKD motor series, users are given a lot of options for the use of specific features, some of them include the optional holding brake (which can be fitted with the motor depending on the motor length chosen), the output direction (which can be one of four sides, chosen when the motor is being ordered from the manufacturer), motor encoder (either the Resolverfeedback without integal or Resolverfeedback with integral multiturn absolute encoder can be used), and the output shaft (users can use the plain shaft, which is usually preferred, or shaft with keyway).
