The MKD112B-073-KP1-BN is a servo motor platform used for position and speed control tasks in the industry. This motor is characterized by its low maintenance requirements and its ability to maintain a peak torque output because of its electronic commutation. This servo motor is also equipped with a holding brake that uses the principle of ‘electrical releasing’ to clamp the motor shaft in a fixed position. When the motor is de-energizing, the brake armature disk is subjected to a magnetic force. Under the influence of magnetic force, the brake closes and the shaft is located in a fixed position. The brake can be released by the application of an electrically generated magnetic field.
