The MKD112B-073-KP1-BN is a servo motor platform used for position and speed control tasks in the industry. This motor is characterized by its low maintenance requirements and its ability to maintain a peak torque output because of its electronic commutation. This servo motor is also equipped with a holding brake that uses the principle of ‘electrical releasing’ to clamp the motor shaft in a fixed position. When the motor is de-energizing, the brake armature disk is subjected to a magnetic force. Under the influence of magnetic force, the brake closes and the shaft is located in a fixed position. The brake can be released by the application of an electrically generated magnetic field. This model has significant protection against the unwanted ingress of lubricants and liquids inside the motor's sensitive parts.
The sealing air connectors can be integrated by replacing the motor flange socket cover. The sealing air connectors maintain a predefined overpressure inside the motor that resists the ingress of liquids inside the motor assembly. This servo motor can produce continuous torque of 33 Nm during standstill mode when the overtemperature is 100 K. This motor has a RAL 9005 black prime coat that protects the outer housing against damage caused by dilute acids, diluted lyes, chalking, and coloring. The motor has a dedicated motor encoder that feeds the current motor position to the intelligent drive controllers attached to the device. The motor feedback system is used for this purpose. The system generates appropriate signals which are received by the drive controller. The motor encoder also facilitates quick and easy start-up.
