The MKD115B-024-KP1-AA model provides high overload capability due to the favorable heat dissipation from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing. The MKD synchronous motor can be used as the main spindle drive and servo drive in the digital intelligent drive system. The motor is suitable to be used in machine tools, robots, handling systems, and food machines. The winding code of the motor is 024 and it generates maximum torque at standstill. The output shaft of the motor is balanced with a key as per DIN 6885-1 (with radial shaft sealing rings). The model uses resolver feedback with a multi-turn absolute encoder to control the speed and to position the motor with the system precision of ±8 angular minutes. The MKD synchronous motor provides a simple and quick start-up due to the data memory in the encoder unit. A black coat is applied to the motor housing to protect it from harsh environmental conditions.
The model MKD115B-024-KP1-AA is equipped with a 22 Nm holding brake and it takes electrical connection through the A-side power connector which is located at the top of the motor.
