The MKD112D-027-KP3-LN synchronous motor features a housing with M4 screws and 1.4Nm starting torque. The Bosch Rexroth motor comes integrated with a 70Nm holding brake that works according to the principle of electrical release. The connection cables of the device must be checked for damage at periodic intervals and replaced if needed. Its bearings have a typical lifespan of 30,000 hours if the allowed axial and radial forces are not exceeded. The cooling ribs of the unit should be cleaned at regular intervals so that the motor function is not affected due to excessive shavings, dust or dirt. The rotor has a 350 x 10-4 moment of inertia.
The motor comes with a length code of D. This device must be operated with only drive controllers from the manufacturer. It should be ensured that the unit is aligned and mounted correctly before the operation. The securing of the unit’s angular connector must be prevented from loosening by using a screw locking adhesive when it is used for applications with high shock loads and vibrations. These screw connections are capable of withstanding the force of the motor as well as the forces during operation. This unit is in compliance with design B5 according to DIN 42950 specifications. This synchronous motor has a warranty backing for a year.
