The MKD112D-027-KP3-BN is an industrial automation technology motor, found in the MKD motor series produced by Bosch Rexroth. It is used in several automated production and manufacturing processes in various industries. The MKD112D-027-KP3-BN features an efficient electrical commutation that allows for the optimal usage of the peak torque with an extensive range of motor speed and responsive start-stop motor attribute (this is further enhanced by the efficient storage of data memory inside the encoder unit) at repeated frequencies. The peak torque is as well regulated by the drive controller while the maximum speed is regulated by the DC link voltage being used for the motor operation.
The MKD112D-027-KP3-BN’s holding brake is regulated by the drive controller. The holding brake plays a significant role in protecting the machine; usually advised to be used in case of operational emergencies. Unlike the other motors in the MKD motor series, MKD112D-027-KP3-BN is designed in such a way that it permits installation in all possible directions. Usually the four possible directions include side A, side B, right, and left. The installation direction depends on the output direction demanded by the user when the motor is ordered from the maker.
