Rexroth Company is the producer of the MKD AC motors of which the MKD112D-027-GG0-BN is part of. Digital intelligent drive controllers from Rexroth drive the motor offering an economical automation system. The system has extensive functionality that is ideal for applications such as machine tools, handling equipment, food industry, and paper industries among others. Like other motors in this series, it is characterized by numerous benefits such as direct overhung mounting of belt pulleys and pinions, electronic commutation, high dynamics, high performance, and easy attachment to the machine.
Like other motors in this series, the MKD112D-027-GG0-BN is made of permanent magnets that implement electronic commutation making the motor ideal for applications that need rapid acceleration and deceleration. The design allows the motor to be designed with low inertia masses. Some of its basic components include a rotor shaft, rotor with neodymium-iron-boron magnets, optional holding brakes, and motor feedback. It features an output direction of power connection to side B, resolver motor feedback, plain shaft with shaft sealing ring, and a winding code of 027. Its electric parameters include four pole pairs, 5.65mH winding inductance, 3000rpm motor speed, 142.2A peak current, and a continuous torque at standstill of 48.0Nm.
To ensure optimal performance the MKD112D-027-GG0-BN is put into operation under ambient conditions.
