Bosch Rexroth’s MKD112C-058-KP3-BN synchronous motor has two cooling modes. Either natural or surface cooling. In natural cooling, the overtemperature is either 60K or 100K. in surface cooling, the overtemperature is 60K/100K. To the electric parameters of the MKD112C-058-KP3-BN. The characteristic motor speed is 4000 min-1 and the maximum current is 239 amps. In natural cooling at 60K overtemperature, when the motor is at standstill, the continuous torque is 38Nm and the continuous current is 53.2 Amps while at 100K overtemperature, the continuous torque is 43.5 Nm and the continuous current stands at 65.3Nm. During surface cooling, the continuous current at standstill is estimated to be 79.8 Amps while the continuous torque is 57Nm. When the temperature is maintained at 200C, the torque constant stands at 0.8Nm/A, the voltage constant is 72.7 V/1000min-1 and the winding resistance is 0.12 Ohms.
