The MKD Motor Series consists of superior motors manufactured for precise machining and heavy duty tasks. In combination with controller drives, these motors can be controlled and adjusted, as per the need of the consumer. The peak torque is usable at a wide range of speeds, only possible thanks to electronic commutation, meaning that it is possible to get higher torque values even regardless of the motor speed. The shaft of the motor is sealed using a shaft sealing ring, which holds the system together and prevents leakages.
The MKD112C-058-GP3-BN Synchronous Motor operates with a continuous torque and current of 38 Nm and 53.2 A at standstill, and generates a rated torque value of 15.3 at natural 60K operating conditions. Other variants include natural 100K and surface 60k/100k. The shaft of the motor comes with a key as per DIN 6885-1 that allows for better interlocking in between components and prevents unnecessary movement. With an operating speed of 4,000 rpm, the MKD112C motor is designed to handle any high velocity operation without having to sacrifice large amounts of torque. Overall, even with the abundance of features, the motor weighs 45 kg, which is quite minute for a motor that provides such torque and power.
