The MKD112C-024-KG3-RN is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MKD Synchronous Motors series. As an electronically commutated drive element, it converts electrical energy into precisely regulated torque and speed for closed-loop positioning on handling portals, machining centers, and packaging lines. Its construction combines a fixed stator winding with a permanent-magnet rotor, which supports high power density in compact axis modules used in automated assembly and conveyor systems.
A centering diameter of 130 mm aligns the stator housing to precision gearboxes, and the square flange size of 192 mm provides a stable bolt pattern for axial loads. At standstill, the motor can supply 38.0 Nm of continuous torque for static clamping or low-speed feed motions. The housing has a protection rating of IP65, which helps keep dust and directed water jets away from internal components. The motor is intended for ambient temperatures from 0–40 °C, and the power and feedback cables exit to the right for straightforward cabinet routing. A factory-installed shaft seal and plain shaft arrangement also support reliable installation in enclosed machine assemblies.
The integrated resolver feedback with an integrated encoder provides rotor angle data, and the motor maintains reference over multiple revolutions through absolute position detection beyond 4096 revolutions. This allows motion commands to be carried out with a system precision of ±8 angular minutes without a separate homing routine after startup. When supply power is removed, an internal brake provides 70 Nm of static torque to hold vertical or suspended axes in place.
