The MKD112C-024-KG0-AN is a new-generation industrial AC motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to supply kinetic energy to industrial machines. The MKD112C-024-KG0-AN motor is characterized by its ability to undergo a continuous start-stop operation with a high repeat frequency in manufacturing industries. It is also very flexible in its application; its broad speed range allows it to fit perfectly into industrial machines with high power requirements and those with low-power requirements. The flange supplied with the motor is following DIN 42948; thus, operators can install the motor into any position in the industrial environment. The motor is also coated with a prime coat black; this coat protects the motor from rust and preserves the quality of the motor over time.
The housing of the MKD112C-024-KG0-AN industrial motor is designed to allow for the easy movement of air in and out of the motor. Special grease-lubricated bearings are installed into the motor to reduce frictional wear and to regulate the heat generated at the motor shaft. A special sealing ring is fitted into the motor's plain shaft to prevent the leakage of the lubricating fluid. The grease-lubricated bearings integrated into this motor have a service life of about 30.000 hours; however, this can be drastically reduced by overloading the shaft; thus, operators should ensure the load is connected to the motor's shaft is proportional to the speed at which the motor is operating.
