The MKD112C-024-GP2-AN model reflects the state-of-the-art technology of Rexroth Indramat. The model belongs to the MKD series of AC servo motors and it can be used as a servo and main spindle drive motors. The MKD synchronous motor is equipped with a holding brake that operates at the stabilized dc-link voltage of 24 VDC and generates the holding torque of 70 Nm to clamp the servo axis during a de-energized state. The total weight of the holding brake is approximately 3.8 kg and the net weight of the motor is 45 kg (excluding the weight of the holding brake). The clamping and release time of the holding brake is 53 microseconds and 97 microseconds. The drive controller provides the rated voltage of AC 372 – 404 V to the synchronous motor through its A1, A2, and A3 terminals. The MKD synchronous motor provides high operational reliability due to its brushless design and lifetime grease-lubricated standard bearing. The model generates the continuous torque of 16.6 – 44.1 Nm under various operating conditions.
