Product Description:

The MKD112C-024-GG3-BN model uses the phenomena of natural convection for cooling purposes and it is also supplied with an optional blower unit for surface cooling during peak load conditions. The MKD synchronous motor provides continuous torque at high speed with extreme precision and accuracy. To provide resistance against weather, corrosion, and acids a prime black coat is applied to the motor housing. Some of the main applications of the AC synchronous motor are food industries, machine tools, handling systems, and general automation systems. The MKD synchronous motor, with 60/100-K overtemperature, consumes 26.6 – 39.9 A of current to produce the continuous torque of 38 – 57 Nm at the characteristics speed of 2000 rpm. The motor takes 372 – 404 V AC electrical power through the B-side power connector and a plain rotor is placed in this model for the continuous delivery of 5.2 – 14.1 kW of rated power. The inertia of the rotor is 273 × 10-4 kgm2. The total mass of the motor is 45 kg excluding the weight of the blower unit. 

The model MKD112C-024-GG3-BN is equipped with a 70 Nm holding brake which operates at the dc-link voltage of 24 VDC. The holding brake consumes 1.29 Nm of current to clamp the servo axis during deceleration. The motor speed and/or position are controlled via digital resolver feedback. The model can operate, without a reduction in rated data, at the maximum temperature of +40 degree Celsius and it can operate ideally at the maximum height of 1000 meters above sea level.
