Product Description:

The MKD112C-024-GG0-RN model is produced by Rexroth Indramat to provide high dynamics with high overload capability. The MKD synchronous motor is designed for high torque applications and it produces the rated torque of 16.6 – 44.1 Nm at the speed of 2500 rpm. The motor operates at the supply voltage of 372 – 404 V and the rated frequency of the system is 167 Hz. The MKD synchronous motor consumes 8.2 – 21.8 A of current to generate the rated power of 5.2 – 14.1 kW. The winding code of the AC motor is 024 which provides the winding inductance of 6.7 mH. The model comes with both natural and surface cooling modes. Under normal operating conditions the motor dissipates its heat to the ambient air whereas, during high load conditions a blower is attached with the motor housing for cooling purposes. The thermal time constant for the natural cooled model is 90 min and 40 min for the surface cooled model.

The model MKD112C-024-GG0-RN should only be operated under the specified conditions to avoid any damage. The model uses resolver feedback for relative position detection. The resolver converts the mechanical motion into electrical signals and then transfers them towards the drive controller for position detection with the accuracy of ±8 angular minutes. The power is transmitted through a plain shaft which is sealed with a radial shaft sealing ring. The motor housing comes in IP65 protection rating and no holding brake is installed in this model. The ambient operating temperature of the motor is 0 to +40 degree Celsius and the model is insulated with insulation class F as per DIN VDE 0530. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
