Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth’s servo motors are known for their affordability and high performance reliability.
The MKD112B-073-KG1-AN is a highly functional servo motor used for industrial automation in a variety of industrial sectors. This motor can be used in adverse ambient conditions because of the IP 65 ingress protection standard implemented on its outer enclosure. For preventing the ingress of cooling liquids and lubricants inside the motor’s assembly, sealing air connectors are used with this device. The sealing air connectors can be attached simply by replacing the flange socket cover of the motor. This helps to maintain a predefined overpressure inside the motor’s assembly that offers resistance to penetrating fluids. This motor has a fixed mounted PTC temperature sensor that continuously monitors the motor winding temperature and feeds temperature data to the attached drive control systems. This protects the motor against overload.
The MKD112B-073-KG1-AN uses the natural convection cooling mode. It is possible to attach optional blowers with this servo motor in case of high performance requirements such as high speed start-stop applications. The maximum allowed installation height for this motor is 1000 meters above sea level. Class F insulation materials are incorporated in this servo motor. These materials are known to sustain very high temperatures i.e 311 ᵒF. A holding brake is also attached to this model. The holding brake is operated using the 'electrically releasing' principle. The brake armature disc is acted upon by a magnetic force when the motor is de-energizing. This causes the brake to close and clamp the axis in a fixed position. When a 24 V DC voltage is applied, the brake opens because the permanent magnet field is compensated with the electrically generated magnetic field. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
