Product Description:
The MKD112B-073-GG0-BN is a MKD series servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. The continuous motor torque is 28 Nm at standstill. In combination with digital controllers from Rexroth, the motor can be used for a wide range of industrial applications such as the food industry, packaging machines and printing machines. The MKD112B-073-GG0-BN is a synchronous AC servo motor which is designed using premium permanent magnets and features electronic commutation. Special materials used in the motor construction permit low inertial mass. When the shipment containing the motor is received, it should be inspected for damage. The shipment should be unpacked only if the shipment is undamaged. Damaged or defective products should not be installed or put into operation. Installation of MKD motors should be in compliance with safety recommendations included in the product documentation.
To prevent electric shock, power to the system should be disconnected before the motor is installed. Persons with metal implants or pacemakers should be prevented form going near an operating motor. The MKD112B-073-GG0-BN supports resolver based feedback. Connection for both the feedback and motor power is located on side B. Flange size of the MKD112B-073-GG0-BN motor is 192 millimeters. Centering diameter of the MKD112B-073-GG0-BN motor is 130 millimeters. Main shaft on the motor is of the plain type and comes with a sealing ring. Integrated holding brake is not available on the MKD112B-073-GG0-BN. However Bosch does offer optional holding brakes which need to be ordered separately. MKD motors with a winding code of C, such as the MKD112B-073-GG0-BN, can only be used with Rexroth controllers designed with 300 Volts DC bus voltage. Motors with winding code of C are not recommended to be used for new applications. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
