The MKD112B-058-KG2-BN industrial motor is one of the latest productions of Rexroth Indramat. this motor is uniquely designed to rotate over a broad speed range and to meet the power requirement of industrial machines with high power requirements. The MKD112B-058-KG2-BN has a favorable torque to mass ratio; although it weighs only about 34 kilograms, it can supply industrial machines with torque as high as 42 newton-meters. This motor features a holding brake that holds the shaft load in place during standstill. The shaft of the MKD112B-058-KG2-BN motor features a sealing ring that ensures the smooth transmission of energy between the motor and the industrial machine.
The MKD112B-058-KG2-BN industrial motor is designed according to the IP65 production class, its housing unit can effectively resist the penetration of foreign solid and liquid substances. A resolver feedback multiturn absolute encoder is integrated into the MKD112B-058-KG2-BN motor, this encoder converts the motor physical movements to digital information, it then transmits this information to the drive controller through the motor feedback cable. The electrical cable of this motor enters the controller through a connection box integrated into the motor’s housing unit, the connection box faces the side B of the motor.
