The MKD112B-048-KG2-AN model uses electronic communication which allows peak torque utilization across a wide speed range. The model is leading the world due to its maintenance-free operation and high functional stability. The MKD synchronous motor is equipped with a lifetime grease-lubricated bearing, having a service life of approximately 30,000 operating hours under normal loading conditions. The motor takes 227 – 251 V electrical connection through the A-side power connector and it operates at the continuous current of 6.9 – 27.5 A. The model normally uses ambient air for cooling purposes but during high load conditions, an axial/radial blower unit is attached to the motor for surface cooling. The MKD synchronous motor delivers 2.7 – 11 kW of rated power through a plain output shaft. The moment of inertia of the shaft is 192 × 10-4. The thermal time constant for the natural/surface cooled model is 40/20 min. The model comes with a B05 flange design for easy mounting.
The model MKD112B-048-KG2-AN can be used generally for peak load applications such as machine tools, handling systems, and printing machines.
