The synchronous motors created by Rexroth Bosch Indramat are made keeping in mind the user requirements. They include components that are fabricated using the latest metallurgical advances and designs that are suited to the intense requirements of power applications used in various industries like equipment handling, fabrication, automation, packaging and food handling, machine handling, etc.
The MKD112B-048-GP0-LN, located in the the MKD series high-power category of AC synchronous motors of classification 112 and motor length B for 28.0 Nm class. Their rated torqueses vary from 7.7 Nm to 18.1 Nm and rated power from 2.7 kW and 6.7 kW respectively (depending upon the two versions - the 60K and 100K). It is a Size 48 motor with its rated speed of 2,800 RPM and maximum speed as an impressive 4500 rpm. This motor has a shaft with key per DIN 6885-1. It also has shaft sealing rings to ensure that the housing is fully sealed to prevent the ingress of liquids, fumes or sprays. The motor comes without any holding brake.
The ambient operating temperature is 0 to 40 degree C which is ensured by rapid heat dissipation along the surface of the housing which is specially designed for this task to prevent overheating. This is also done by regularly monitoring for which the MKD112B-048-GP0-LN features an integrated resolver motor feedback encoder system that functions by regulating appropriate signals to the drive controller to precisely measure the rotor position for its smooth and efficient functioning.
