The MKD112B-024-KP2-AN industrial motor is one of the most sophisticated and advanced products manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The motor is very portable and small, however, it can deliver a torque as high as 31-newton meters. The motor is cost-efficient; its brushless compact design allows it to operate for a long period of time without breaking down. The MKD112B-024-KP2-AN motor can rotate over a broad speed range which illustrates the motor’s flexibility and its ability to operate efficiently in a large number of industrial applications such as machine tools, paper-processing machines, automation systems, and handling systems. Rexroth Indramat has inscribed special safety signs and symbols on different parts of the motor, these signs are intended to warn and instruct operators on the dangers posed by specific parts of the motor if mishandled. These safety signs and instructions are according to ANSI Z535.
The housing of the MKD112B-024-KP2-AN industrial motor is made with a think metal covered with a prime coat black that is resistant to acidic, alkaline, and salty liquid compounds. This housing is designed to offer the motor protection that meets the IP65 protection category. The flange supplied with this motor allows operators to install the motor in three different positions depending on the preferences of the operator. These installation positions are designated by IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3.
