The MKD112B-024-KG2-AN has a flange size of 192mm and a centering diameter of 130mm. It also has a continuous torque of 28Nm at standstill. The holding brake has a 32Nm capacity and can be triggered by an appropriate drive controller or an external control. It has the windings code 024. Data on motor position and speed is provided to the drive controllers by means of the resolver feedback with integrated multi-turn absolute encoder. In theory, this motor should be able to produce a maximum speed of 4000 revolutions per minute, however, 2000 revolutions per minute is the characteristic motor speed.
The power connector on this motor is located on side A. Bearings on MKD112B-024-KG2-AN motors should be replaced if a running house is heard or the period of the nominal service life has elapsed. Driven by a plain shaft with shaft sealing ring, this motor has a rated speed of 3500 revolutions per minute and a rated frequency of 233 hertz. Electrical commutation allows for continual start-stop operations with great repeat frequencies. This motor has a good ratio of torque to inertia mass offering high dynamics during operation.
The housing of this motor is painted with a black prime coat that is resistant to weathering and chalking. No additional varnish should be applied to this coat to avoid exceeding the tolerable thickness. Motors without painted housings can be requested for special use, for example, within the food industry. These motors are able to function under adverse environmental conditions due to their completely closed design in the IP 65 degree of protection. Falling in the F insulation class, this motor is only available in this design.
