Product Description:
The MKD112B-024-KG1-LN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MKD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop industrial axes where rapid torque delivery and precise position control are required, such as gantry drives, tool changers, or packaging stations. When paired with a compatible digital drive controller, the motor converts commanded current into regulated mechanical output for coordinated motion. Because it is designed for servo duty, it can support repeated starts, stops, and position corrections under controller supervision. This makes it suitable for machinery that needs quick response and repeatable positioning during continuous production.
The motor mounts with a 192 mm square flange and a concentric 130 mm centering diameter, which helps align the housing accurately to the machine interface. The square flange supports rigid face mounting, while the centering shoulder helps maintain concentric installation with couplings or gearheads. The shaft is protected by an oil seal, and the motor can deliver a continuous standstill torque of 28.0 Nm. An integral holding brake rated at 22 Nm is released electrically and helps hold the axis when power is removed. External cabling enters from the left side through a sealed power connector, and the housing carries an IP65 rating that resists dust and water jets.
In operation, the MKD112B unit can run in ambient air from 0–40 °C without output derating, and its Class F insulation tolerates winding temperatures up to 155 °C. Motion feedback is provided by Resolver feedback, allowing the drive to monitor rotor position with a control accuracy window of ±8 angular minutes. This feedback format supports stable position monitoring across the motor’s operating range and works well in closed-loop servo applications. Winding code 024 identifies the electrical configuration used for this motor, while the B frame length and 112 frame size provide a balance between inertia and dynamic response.
