The MKD112B-024-KG1-AN is one of the motors best-suited for heavy-duty applications requiring high torque and power. A total of three different variants are offered by Bosch Rexroth. The thermally insulated, naturally cooled motor has a rated torque of 8.8 Nm while its non-insulated version delivers a rated torque of 21.6 Nm. The third version has forced convection surface cooling built into the design which makes it more resistant to temperature differentials. Due to the additional cooling facility, it boasts a rated torque of 30 Nm.
Featuring a rated speed of 3,500 RPM and total mass of just 34 Kg, the MKD112B-024-KG1-AN is ideal in terms of handling and smooth operation. A permissible ambient temperature range of 0-40 oC means that it can work in any industrial setup. Since all Bosch Rexroth motors are developed for closed-loop control systems, a motor position sensing encoder is installed. This particular version uses a multiturn absolute encoder with indirect data acquisition technique.
