Digital MKD motors are cost-effective for use in automated systems. They are suited for use in various machines in the printing, handling, packaging and paper industries. They offer high operational reliability. Prior to delivery, these motors are checked to ensure that they are safe for operation. They have a high tolerance for overload and offer protection due to the motor temperature monitoring. The special magnet materials used in the design of MKD motors allow for their design with low inertia masses. 

The MKD112B-024-KG0-AN is of size 112 and length B. Capable of outputting a constant 2000 revolutions per minute, this motor comes without a holding brake. It falls under the 024 windings code. This motor is driven by a plain shaft with shaft sealing ring to protect it from interference by dirt, dust and occasional jets of water. Prolonged exposure to water at the output shaft point should be avoided however, since the water may penetrate and damage the motor. The motor is equipped with a resolver feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This system provides the drive controller with the current motor position for easy and quick start up and is accurate for more than 4096 revolutions. 

The rated speed of the MKD112B-024-KG0-AN is 3500 revolutions per minute. The current peaks at 98.5 amps and the voltage at 20 degrees Celsius is 130 volts. The power connector on this motor is located on side A. For best results, this motor should be stored between -20 to 80 degrees Celsius in a dry area free from dust and vibrations. The operational temperature ranges between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. This motor is not available in any other design.
