The MKD112B-024-GP0-LN is a 2000-rpm AC synchronous motor manufactured by Indramat. By mass, this motor weighs 34 kg and has a peak current of 98.5 Amperes. Its electrical connections are accomplished by means of plug-in connectors. The MKD112B-024-GP0-LN is highly reliable and has numerous use cases in several industries including robotics, machine tools, handling systems, textile industry, printing presses, food processing and packaging.
At standstill, the MKD112B-024-GP0-LN has a continuous torque rating of 28 Nm in natural convection mode. This motor utilizes a Resolver Feedback system to gain control of the position and/or speed of the motor. It features an output driving shaft with a keyway, as per DIN 6885 standards. There is no optional holding brake on this version of the MKD AC motors. During storage/transport, an impact-resistant container should be used to curtail the effect of excessive vibrations and/or shocks. The 190 mm flange on the MKD112B-024-GP0-LN must be devoid of burrs prior to the commencement of mounting operations. The permissible elevation of installation is between 0 and 1000 m above sea level.
When transporting and/or keeping the MKD112B-024-GP0-LN AC motor in storage, the allowable temperature range is between -20- and 80-degrees C. Its insulation category is F and the protection class is IP 65. Its performance is not affected by the ingress of jet water or dust, as it is well protected by its well-sealed housing.
