The MKD112A-024-GP2-BN model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The motor provides a simple and quick startup due to the data memory in the motor encoder unit. The MKD synchronous motor provides high operational reliability and is suitable for use in machine tools, textile machines, printing machines, the food industry, and robotics. The bearing used in this model is designed for high radial loads and the overall service life of the bearing is approximately 30,000 operating hours. The motor comes in a completely closed design IP 65 degree of protection which allows it to operate under harsh environmental conditions and the motor housing is painted with a prime black coat (except specially designed model for the food industry). The MKD synchronous motor can be installed in any mounting position of IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 due to its B05 design. The motor belongs to the MKD series and the controlling and monitoring of the motor may require the connection of additional sensors and actuators.
The model MKD112A-024-GP2-BN features 314 – 355 V of rated voltage, 6.2 – 12 A of rated current, 10.1 – 19.4 Nm of rated torque, and the rated speed of 2500 rpm. The motor is equipped with a rotor with a key to transmit 3.2 – 6.4 kW of continuous power. The digital resolver generates 4 index signals per rotation and then transmits them towards the drive controller for indirect position detection. A motor holding brake is placed in this model with operates at the dc-link voltage of 24 VDC with ±10% tolerance. The motor can deliver the maximum theoretical torque of 54 Nm while operating at the peak current of 59 A at the maximum speed of 4500 rpm.
