The MKD112A-024-GP0-AN model is intended to be used as servo and main drive motors and it belongs to the MKD motor series of Rexroth Indramat. The MKD synchronous motor provides maintenance-free operation and it can be mounted into any permissible mounting position. The motor provides complete resistance against ingress of dirt and liquids due to its IP 65 protection category. The MKD synchronous motor can only be mounted along with the respective drive controller. The motor takes electrical connection through the 314 – 355 V power supply and it operates at the rated frequency of 167 Hz. The motor which operates at natural convection, with the 60-K/100-K overtemperature, the motor delivers the continuous torque of 15 – 17 Nm at the continuous current of 13.1 – 15.9 A and the motor with surface cooling delivers the continuous torque of 22.5 at the continuous current of 19.7 A at the speed of 2000 rpm. The winding inductance of the motor is 14 mH.
The model MKD112A-024-GP0-AN comes with digital resolver feedback which uses an inductive measuring method for controlling the speed/position of the motor. The output shaft with a key is placed in this motor for the continuous transmission of torque. The motor is not equipped with a holding brake. The power connector, with side-A delivery, is located at the top of the motor.
