The MKD112A-024-GG1-AN model is widely used around the globe because it provides cost-effective automation systems for different applications. The MKD synchronous motor takes electrical connection through the A-side power connector and it operates at the AC voltage of 314 – 355 V. The model generates the minimum and maximum power of 3.2 kW and 6.4 kW which makes it suitable for machine tools, packaging machines, and textile machines. The MKD synchronous motor is painted with a prime black coat to provide resistance against weather, chalking, yellowing, and diluted acids. The flange size of the motor is 192 mm which allows easy installation to the machines. The motor with 60-K/100-K overtemperature, operating at standstill, produces the continuous torque of 15 – 22.5 Nm while consuming the continuous current of 13.1 – 19.7 A. The average speed of the motor is 2500 rpm and it is capable to operate at the maximum speed of 4500 rpm. The model can operate on both natural and surface cooling mode, depending upon the operating conditions.
The model MKD112A-024-GG1-AN can operate, without derating, at the maximum elevation of 1000 meters above sea level and between the permissible temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius. The maximum permissible temperature for the motor winding is 155 degree Celsius. The model is completely protected against low-pressure water jets and dust particles due to its IP 65 protection category. A 22 Nm holding brake is placed in this model along with a plain output shaft (with shaft sealing ring).
