The MKD090B-058-GP1-KN is a servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MKD Synchronous Motors series. It supplies closed-loop rotary motion for industrial automation, driving axes that require coordinated speed and position control in packaging lines, machining centers, and material-handling modules. As a rotary actuator, it converts drive current from compatible Rexroth digital drives into controlled mechanical output. The integrated holding brake keeps loads stationary during power-down events, and its iron-core stator with a permanent-magnet rotor supports efficient torque production across the operating speed range.
At standstill, the rotor can deliver a continuous 12.0 Nm of torque. The mounting face uses a 110 mm centering diameter together with a 140 mm square flange, allowing accurate alignment with standardized gearboxes or machine frames. For emergency stops, the integrated brake applies 11 Nm of holding torque to lock the shaft. Rotor position is monitored by a resolver feedback (RSF) device, which sends analog sine-cosine signals with good resistance to electrical noise during rapid acceleration and deceleration. That feedback helps the drive maintain stable commutation and consistent speed control as load conditions change.
Service wiring enters through a connection box mounted on Side B, simplifying cable routing when the shaft faces forward. The rotor-stator assembly uses winding code 058, and the B length code keeps the motor compact while providing useful thermal surface in the 090 frame. Torque is transferred through a shaft with a keyway, and a fitted shaft seal helps block oil or coolant from reaching internal parts. Incremental processing uses relative position detection, so the control system establishes a reference position during startup rather than relying on internal multi-turn memory.
