MKD090B-047-KG0-KN is a synchronous servo motor. It is part of the MKD series from Bosch Rexroth. The motor has an IP65 rated housing. The robust ingress protection provided by the housing allows use of the motor in a wide range of operating conditions. For optimal operation, Bosch recommends 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. Higher temperatures cause output derating i.e. the output current and torque will be less than rated values. The maximum permitted ambient temperature with output derating is 55 degrees Celsius. Optimal operation also requires setup heights that are less than 1000 meters. The maximum permitted setup height with derating is 3000 meters. The MKD090B-047-KG0-KN motor has a plain shaft. The shaft includes a seal that prevents oil leakage. The shaft seal also protects motor bearings from dust, debris and moisture,
