Product Description:
The MKD071B-061-KP1-KN servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MKD Synchronous Motors series. It is a permanent-magnet AC drive component intended for position and speed control in compatible Rexroth Indramat systems. When coupled to a compatible digital controller, the motor converts electrical energy into controlled rotary motion. It shares the mechanical coding and electrical interface conventions common to the series, simplifying interchangeability during machine design and service.
At standstill the motor produces a continuous torque of 8.0 Nm, a value that defines its thermal limit for indefinite holding without forced cooling. A mechanical parking brake is integrated; the unit is supplied with holding brake, delivering 5 Nm of static torque helps hold the axis when power is removed, within the brake’s rated limits. Mounting references are set by a centering diameter of 95 mm and a square flange measuring 115 mm, dimensions that align the housing with ISO 9409 coupling patterns. Winding code 061 and the B-length frame balance copper fill, resistance, and overall mass for general-purpose servo axes.
Rotor position is monitored through resolver feedback w/ integrated encoder, provides absolute position detection over more than 4096 revolutions. Power, brake, and feedback leads exit on Side B through a sealed connection box that eases field wiring while maintaining IP-rated ingress protection. Output torque is transmitted via a shaft with keyway, and a shaft seal blocks lubricant escape at the bearing journal. Together with absolute (>4096 revs) multi-turn tracking, these elements can reduce or eliminate homing requirements in compatible drive configurations.
