The MKD071B-061-KG1-KS is a new generation AC motor produced by Rexroth Indramat. The motor works in connection with a drive controller to generate kinetic energy for industrial machines such as printing machines, paper-processing machines, food processing machines, and handling systems. The motor is particularly suited for industrial applications with a high power requirement. Unlike other competing AC motor series, the MKD071B-061-KG1-KS drive controller features a brushless design, making it highly durable and efficient. Its strong housing allows it to operate in harsh environments considered inoperable for conventional AC motors. It is also designed with special sensors that monitor its temperature and help the drive controller keep the motor's temperature within the tolerated temperature range.
The MKD071B-061-KG1-KS motor is supplied with a flange according to DIN 42948 thus it can be easily installed in any location in the industrial environment. The motor requires some accessories for optimum operation; these accessories include sealing air connectors, planetary gearings, and optional fans, which helps in temperature regulation.
