The MKD071B-061-KG0-KS is a highly sophisticated AC motor produced by Rexroth Indramat for industrial production applications. The motor is characterized by its high durability and its ability to rotate over a broad speed range. The MKD071B-061-KG0-KS AC motor is highly flexible and can be applied in a wide range of applications such as handling systems, assembly systems, automation machines, and lots more as specified in the motor's documentation. The motor also contains a resolver feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder which monitors and delivers operational information on the drive to the drive controller in real-time. The motor does not contain a holding brake; it, however, contains a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring.
The MKD071B-061-KG0-KS AC motor features a compact design with IP65 degree of protection. It can operate for a long time without requiring any maintenance operation since the housing is resistant to dust and other foreign elements. The shaft of the motor contains special lubricated bearings which help to prevent frictional wear in the motor. The service life of the bearings is 30.000 hours following DIN ISO 281. The motor should also be operated with the nominal load stipulated in the documentation as overloading can reduce the motor's service life.
