The MKD041B-144-KG0-KS model is equipped with resolver feedback with an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder which provides absolute indirect position detection within 4096 motor revolutions with the system precision of ±8 angular minutes. The MKD synchronous motor comes with a plain output shaft and FPM (Viton) radial shaft sealing ring. The model is a part of the INDRAMAT AC Drive System which provides cost-effective automation systems when used in conjunction with the digital intelligent drive controller. The MKD synchronous motor provides high operational reliability and high performance in robots, machine tools, printing machines, and handling systems. The model operates at the DC link voltage of 115 – 170 V and generates 0.52/0.88 kW of power at the speed of 3000/4500 rpm. The motor is also known as a permanent magnet motor. Special magnet material permits the motor to be designed with low inertia mass. The motor generates 2.7 Nm of torque at 7.5 A of current with the 60-K increase in housing temperature.
The model MKD041B-144-KG0-KS comes with a B05 design with an 82 mm flange design which provides easy attachment to the machine. The motor can be mounted in IM B5 (flange attached on the drive side), IM V1 (drive side pointing down), and IM V3 (drive side pointing up) direction. The motor comes without any holding brake and a junction box is used for electrical connection. The motor provides maintenance-free operation and its housing is painted by prime black coat which allows it to work under adverse environmental conditions. The motor is protected by IP65 protection class and it can operate ideally between the temperature ranges of 0 to +40 degree Celsius.
