The MKD041B-144-GG0-KS model offers a cost-effective automation system in conjunction with the digital intelligent drive controller by Rexroth Indramat. The MKD AC synchronous motor can be used under adverse environmental conditions due to its IP65 protection category and insulation class F according to DIN VDE 0530. The motor’s housing is coated with a prime black coat which provides resistance against corrosion and other environmental effects. The frame size of the motor is 041 with 82 mm flange size and 50 mm centering diameter. The MKD AC synchronous motor uses natural air for cooling purposes. The motor with 60K housing/100K winding overtemperature features as 115/170 V rated voltage, 2.8/3 A rated current, 1.4/1.5 Nm rated torque, 3000/4500 rpm rated speed, and 0.52/0.88 kW rated power. The motor can generate a constant torque of 0.4 Nm/A, and winding resistance of 1.8 Ohm at 20 degree Celsius.
The model MKD041B-144-GG0-KS provides easy cabling through a junction box (delivering: to side-B) and the thermal time constant of the motor is 30 minutes. The model can be installed at the maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and its permissible storage and transport temperature is -20 to +80 degree Celsius. The model is also known as a permanent magnet motor which comes with 3 pole pairs and 5 mH of winding inductance. The motor is equipped with resolver feedback (RSF) which helps in controlling the speed and position of the motor. The motor is available in B05 design which can be installed in IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 positions according to EN 60034-7. The motor comes with a plain shaft for delivering output and the motor housing is completely protected against dust and low-pressure water jets due to the IP65 protection category.
