The MKD041B-143-KG0-KN digital AC motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth comes with a prime black coat. This coat is resistant to coloring, weather, and chalking. The torque of the motor gets reduced by 15% to 20% when there is no paint on it. The device has a torque constant of 0.4Nm/A at 20°C. It supports resolver feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The shaft may get damaged or broken due to intense reverse operation. The unit is widely used in machine tools. The product incorporates a brushless design and grease-lubricated bearings for its entire service life. The device features overload protection due to its motor temperature monitoring functionality.
The motor must be serviced, installed, and operated only in accordance with the environmental conditions and regulations specified. The device should be used only with cables and accessories that have the manufacturer’s approval. It should not be operated under extreme temperature variations. The unit tends to have a high discharge current and a high voltage if it is used incorrectly. This synchronous motor can be installed in any orientation.
