Product Description
All motors denoted with the “MKD” type code from Rexroth Bosch are permanent magnet motors. These motors feature electronic commutation with special magnetic materials that enable the motors to provide a low inertia mass ratio. This, in turn, ensures that the motor will work at its most efficient rates while being highly reliable throughout their lifetime of operation.
The MKD025B-144-KG0-KN motor is made with direct overhung mounting utilizing belt pulleys and pinions. The bearing is designed for high radial loads and the type of mounting design helps to ensure that this feature works. The motor allows for easy cabling since it works with different designs of cable sets. With data memory and a motor encoder unit the motor provides quick and easy startup. This permanent magnet motor can be used with a variety of machines including paper and printing machines, machine tools, automation and handling machines, packaging machines and other types of machines used in the food industry.
This motor features a 54mm flange size with a centering diameter of 40 mm. This frame length provides continuous torques of 0.4 to 0.9 Nm while at a standstill. Along with this, the motor is equipped with an integrated encoder system that provides motor feedback to the drive controller so that the drive controller always knows the position and speed that the motor is operating at. This motor features an RSF resolver feedback type with a relative type of position detected. There is no holding brake on this model so there is no clamping of the servo axis when the machine is in a de-energized state. The output direction of the MKD025B-144-KGO-KN is a connection box type.
