MKD025B-144-KG0-KN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor from the MKD series. It has an IP65 rated housing. The benefit of this housing is that it provides complete protection against dust ingress. The housing also provides strong protection against moisture directed at the housing from low-pressure jets. The motor shaft has a plain design and features a sealing ring. The shaft seal protects motor bearings from environmental contaminants and improves motor bearing reliability. Electronic commutation, combined with strong ingress protection, ensure maintenance-free motor operation. The required ambient temperature for MKD motor operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The required site elevation is 0 to 1000 meters. Rated output depends on ambient conditions complying with these specified ranges. The rated output torque is 0.31 Nm and the rated output current is 1.2 Amps.

The continuous torque at standstill is 0.9 Nm and the continuous current at standstill is 5.1 Amps. Speed rating of the MKD025B-144-KG0-KN motor is 5000 RPM and the peak speed is 9000 RPM.
