The MKD025A-144-GG0-KN is part of this AC motor series, representing a 025 size variant which comes with a 54mm flange. It has 2 different versions that can be differentiated through the over temperature values set at the time of quality testing. The 60K overtemperature variant has 0.18 Nm rated torque and 0.12kW rated power while the 100K overtemperature version has 0.39 Nm rated torque and 0.27kW rated power.
It has a rated speed of 5,000 RPM, rated frequency of 250 Hz, and a 3 pole pair design which ensures smooth rotation. The motor is designed to cool down via natural convection, thus does not drain any energy through additional cooling devices and also houses lesser components as a result. The brushless construction of the motor means it does not require any maintenance, which is very convenient for engineers. The MKD025A-144-GG0-KN can be coupled with a motion drive to be used as part of a closed loop control system. For this, the type of position detection device it incorporates is a resolver feedback which senses position relative to a pre-set position angle.
