Bosch Rexroth MHD synchronous motors provide cost-effective automation systems which can be applied across different fields of application. The MHD115C-059-NG0-AN can have additional axial and radial blowers attached in cases of extreme loads like operations that have high repeat frequencies. These additional blower units are ordered as a separate subitem from Bosch Rexroth. The electrical connection of this motor includes a power connection and an encoder connection. Its power supply is via the INS0380 flange socket. It is equipped with digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system. This detects the relative indirect position and sends the appropriate signal to the drive controller. The motor shaft is a plain shaft (with a shaft sealing ring) that makes the motor run smoothly. It has a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and a rated current of 68.4 Amps.

The MHD115C-059-NG0-AN housing is designed to dissipate heat through natural convection and liquid cooling. Liquid cooling is activated when the motor is subjected to extreme loads. The housing varnish of this motor is black (a/w RAL 9005), which protects it against harsh weather, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. It should be set up at a maximum height of 1000 m and operated at an ambient temperature of 0° C … 45° C. Its protection rating is IP 65, indicating that it is dustproof, shock-resistant, and protected from the harmful effects of water jets.
