The servo motors in the MHD series can be combined with the digital intelligent drive controllers from Indramat to form rapid-response automation systems. They display high operational reliability and have low inertia masses. They can also be used as servo and main drive motors in applications such as machine tools, handling and mounting systems, printing and paper processing machines, and food processing and packaging machines.

The MHD115C-035-PG1-AA is a permanent magnet servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is an MHD motor designed for maintenance-free operation with its brushless design and its use of bearings that remain grease-lubricated throughout their lifetime of operation. These bearings support the overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys as they are suitable for high radial loads. They have a service lifetime of 30,000 operating hours according to DIN ISO 281, provided that the permissible radial and axial forces are not exceeded. The output shaft of the motor is the plain type with a shaft sealing ring made from materials that are resistant to chemicals and oils.

The holding brake of the MHD115C-035-PG1-AA has a holding torque value of 70Nm. It is the electrically-released type and requires a rated voltage of DC 24V and a rated current of 1.29A.
