The MHD115B-024-NP1-BA is a synchronous motor that has been manufactured for controlling the speed and position of the automation equipment used in industrial assembly lines. This model has been manufactured with a DIN compliant flange to facilitate universal installation on various types of host machines. This model is provided with an advanced encoder unit that helps to start-up the motor in a short time period. A high amount of torque is available at the motor’s output because of the use of energy-dense permanent magnets. The use of permanent magnets means that the high magnetic flux is available at different operating speeds and the required power can be kept constant by fluctuating the magnetic flux. Also, the motor’s peak torque can be utilized at different operating speeds because of the replacement of the motor brushed design with electronic commutation.

The MHD115B-024-NP1-BA can negotiate variable loads and control the position and speed with reliable accuracy. The system comes with the ability to detect any change in the programmed values of speed and position and send corrective signals to correct any mismatch in the required values. With a theoretical maximum torque of 160 Nm, this motor is suitable for use with a diverse set of machines including machine tools, foodstuff machines, paper printing machines, paper manufacturing machines, woodworking machines, etc. The motor has a rated speed of 2000 rpm and a maximum speed of 4000 rpm. The outer casing of this model is protected in line with the IP 65 ingress protection standards that ensure a safe operation in tough external conditions.
