The Bosch Rexroth MHD115B-024-NP0-AA is a digital servo motor. It is part of MHD series of motors that are compatible with DDS controllers. MHD motors are typically deployed for industrial applications that include machine tools, packaging machines and food, and automation. MHD motors are maintenance free due to the brushless design and bearings that are grease-lubricated for their entire service life. MHD motors can be installed in any desired position. Cable sets are available in various designs which allows easy motor cabling. MHD motors are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. Multiple cooling modes are supported including natural convection, surface cooling and liquid cooling. The MHD115B-024-NP0-AA is suited to natural convection and surface cooling. It delivers 50 Nm continuous torque with natural convection at 60K overtemperature and 57 Nm at 100K overtemperature.

The motor delivers 75 Nm continuous torque with surface cooling. Peak current output of the MHD115B-024-NP0-AA motor is 145 Amps. The rated motor performance also varies with cooling method used. With natural convection at 60K overtemperature, the rated speed is 2000 RPM, the rated torque is 17.9 Nm and the rated output is 4.4 kilowatts. With natural convection at 100K overtemperature, the rated speed is 2000 RPM, the rated torque is 32.3 Nm and the rated output is 8.3 kilowatts. With surface cooling the rated speed is 2000 RPM, the rated torque is 56.1 Nm and the rated output is 14.4 kilowatts. The MHD115B-024-NP0-AA supports digital servo feedback. The main shaft includes a key and a sealing ring. The motor is supplied without a holding brake none. The power connector is on side A of the housing. Only trained personnel should handle the motor.
