The housing of this motor is designed according to the IP65 protection class; this high protection class allows the motor to withstand harsh industrial conditions such as potentially explosive regions and mining areas.

The MHD115A-058-PG0-BN industrial synchronous motor features an internal encoder that converts all the physical operations of the motor into digital signals and then transfers these signals to the drive controller through a motor feedback cable. This encoder also contains an internal memory that stores important configurational instructions; this internal memory aids the quick start-up of the motor when it is required for immediate operation.

The MHD115A-058-PG0-BN is also covered with a liquid-resistant black coating which protects its housing from the direct interference of corrosive liquid substances such as dilute acids, dilute alkalis and hydraulic oil. For effective protection against liquid substances, an additional coating layer with a maximum thickness of 40 micrometers can be used to cover the surface of this industrial synchronous motor.
