The Bosch Rexroth MHD112D-024-NG0-AN is an industrial synchronous motor. It is designed for applications that include machine tools, packaging machines, food machines and general automation. Because of a brushless design and use of bearings that are grease-lubricated for the entire service life, MHD motors are maintenance-free devices. Integrated temperature monitoring provides overload protection. Favorable heat dissipation from windings on the motor stator leads to high overload capability. Electrical commutation makes continuous start-stop operation possible. Data memory of the motor encoder makes motor startup quick and easy. MHD motors are made with low inertia masses. The principal motor components include stator with winding, rotor with permanent magnets, bearings, shaft, motor encoder and shaft seal. A holding brake is available as an option. Personnel involved in motor handling should read and understand the relevant safety instructions.

Any motor hardware component must not be modified structurally. The motor firmware and its source code should not be altered in any way.
