The Bosch Rexroth MHD112C-024-NP0-AN is a synchronous servo motor. It is used in conjunction with drive controllers for industrial applications that include machine tools, packaging machines, automation and paper machines. MHD motors are maintenance-free due to a brushless design and bearings which are grease lubricated for their entire service life. The MHD112C-024-NP0-AN is suited to cooling via natural convection or surface cooling. The characteristic speed of the motor is 2000 RPM. The continuous torque at standstill with natural convection is 38 Nm. The continuous current at standstill with natural convection is 26.6 Amps. The continuous torque at standstill with surface cooling is 57 Nm. The continuous current at standstill with surface cooling is 39.9 Amps. The rated motor speed for all operating conditions is 2500 RPM. The maximum motor speed is 4000 RPM.

The MHD112C-024-NP0-AN is designed for 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The maximum setup height recommended by Bosch is 1000 meters. The housing of the MHD112C-024-NP0-AN is IP65 rated. The motor housing is sealed and provides complete protection against dust ingress. Flange size of the MHD112C-024-NP0-AN motor is 192 millimeters and the centering diameter is 130 millimeters. The motor mounts via four holes on the motor flange. The power connector is on side A of the housing. The MHD112C-024-NP0-AN supports digital servo feedback. The main motor shaft includes key and a sealing ring. The seal on the motor shaft protects motor bearings from environmental contaminants. The seal wears during operation. Therefore it should be inspected periodically and replaced when it is not able to perform the function for which it is installed. The motor does not include a holding brake. However holding brakes are available for MHD112 motor and can be ordered if required.
