The MHD112C-024-NG3-LN is a synchronous motor that is designed for high torque applications. This model comes from the MHD series and is known for its ability to generate high torque despite its compact size. This model is a very dynamic platform because of its ability to negotiate loads and execute motion very precisely. This model has a high torque to inertia mass ratio that enables it to execute motion at a very fast pace. The system is also able to support high speed start-stop applications. The motor is equipped with electronic commutation that is a major design improvement and replaces the standard brushed design used in conventional motors. This presents many advantages including a very high torque availability across a wide range of speeds. The motor is able to sustain a high amount of overload mainly because internal heat can be directed from the stator windings towards the outer walls.

The MHD112C-024-NG3-LN is designed with a DIN compliant flange design that assists in installation on various types of host machines. The motor is provided with an encoder unit that facilitates quick start-up. This is because the encoder has its own data memory. This model has a peak current of 120 A and can generate a high amount of torque because of high quality permanent magnets that can create very high energy density. Due to the use of electronic commutation, the motor’s peak torque is available across a wide range of motor speeds. This model can be operated at various speeds and can reach a maximum speed of 4000 rpm if needed.
