The MHD112B-048-PP1-AN is a state-of-the-art industrial motor designed by highly trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat to operate as a rotary main or servo motor in the industrial servo system. This motor is produced from highly durable materials, it also features a compact design that allows it to operate smoothly in industrial conditions considered unfavorable for convectional industrial machines. Under normal operating conditions, the MHD112B-048-PP1-AN industrial synchronous motor maintains an operational efficiency of about 90 percent, this high operational efficiency makes the motor the preferred choice for industrialists operating sophisticated machines such as textile machines, metal forming machines, food processing machines, and lots more. This motor is however not suitable for applications classified “non-intended use” in the user manual.

The MHD112B-048-PP1-AN industrial synchronous motor features greese special ball bearings which help to regulate the frictional heat generated at the motor’s shaft during operation, these ball bearings are long-lasting, however their service life can be significantly reduced by overloading of the motor.

 The technical data of the MHD112B-048-PP1-AN industrial synchronous motor depends on its winding temperature and the prevailing motor housing temperature, for example at motor surface temperature of 60 kelvin, this industrial motor generates an output torque of about 28 newton meters while drawing an input current of about 35.6 amperes from the power supply cable. However at a winding temperature of 100 kelvin, this industrial motor generates an output torque of 33.0 amperes while drawing an input current of 43.5 amperes. The maximum input current that can be used by this industrial motor is about 160 amperes, at this current, the motor moves at a peak speed of 4500 revolutions per minute.
