The MHD112B-024-NG0-LN is a synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the MHD series. Its flange size is 192mm, while its centering diameter is 130mm. The motor is equipped with electronic commutation, a feature that allows it to be used for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It also has a high overload capability and this is due to the effective dissipation of heat from its stator windings to the walls of its housing. In addition, it has a temperature monitoring system that protects it from damage due to excessively high thermal conditions.

Operating the MHD112B-024-NG0-LN under adverse environmental conditions can be done safely, thanks to its completely sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529. It is completely touch-proof, dustproof, and impermeable to solid objects and water jets. Its shaft is the plain type with a shaft sealing ring that allows mounting in a friction-locked shaft-hub connection. The shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760 - design A. The motor is coated with a black prime coat varnish that is resistant against weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. Its nominal speed is 2,500 revolutions per minute, but its maximum speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute.
