The MHD093C-058-NP1-AN is a new-generation industrial synchronous motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to serve as a reliable source of kinetic energy for industrial production and processing devices. This motor is manufactured under ideal operating conditions; it is a brushless motor that operates with reduced noise and can undergo continuous start-stop operations with a high repeat frequency. The housing of this motor is made of durable metallic materials that offer protection according to the IP65 protection class; the motor is also supplied with a flange which allows it to be installed into any position in the industrial servo system. The MHD093C-058-NP1-AN contains special grease-lubricated ball bearings; these bearings help to reduce the frictional heat generated at the motors output shaft; they have a service life of about 30000 hours and should be promptly replaced once they are no longer fit for operation.

The technical data of the MHD093C-058-NP1-AN industrial synchronous motor depends on the prevailing motor surface temperature. At a motor surface temperature of about 60  kelvin, this industrial motor operates with a continuous current of about 7.6 amperes while generating an output torque of about 12.0-newton meters; however, at a motor surface temperature of 100 kelvin, the continuous current used by this industrial motor at a standstill is about 8.9 amperes while the torque output is about 14.0-newton meters. All parts of this industrial motor must be regularly cleaned as the build-up of dust, and other foreign particles on the housing of the motor can interfere with the smooth operation of the motor.

The maximum permissible height at which the MHD093C-058-NP1-AN industrial synchronous motor can be operated is 1000 meters above sea level; operating the motor above this height can significantly reduce the efficiency of the motor.
