The Bosch Rexroth MHD093C-024-PP1-BA is a digital servo motor. It is intended to be used in combination with a drive controller. The motor contains a feedback device that sends feedback to the controller. The feedback enables the controller to track and control motor parameters. The MHD093C-024-PP1-BA supports digital servo feedback with integrated multi-turn absolute encoder. Multi-turn encoders provide feedback within multiple rotations of the motor shaft. MHD motors can be used as servo motors and as drive motors for applications such as machine tools, handling, packaging machines and automation. MHD motors should only be used with accessories that are specified in the documentation. Use of substandard accessories can adversely affect motor performance. The motor may be operated only with the software and firmware that is specified in the function description.

To ensure that motor can execute the required functions, the controller that is connected to the MHD093C-024-PP1-BA must be programmed before startup. The motor may not be used if it is subjected to operating conditions that do not comply with specified ambient conditions. Bosch has specified the following ambient conditions: 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. The motor may also not be used if the intended fields of application have not been expressly released for the motor by Bosch. The general safety instructions must be followed to prevent equipment damage and injury to personnel. The flange size of the motor is 140 / 150 millimeters and the centering diameter is 130 millimeters. The motor shaft features a key and sealing ring. The motor supports a holding brake rated for 22 Nm. The power connector is on side B of the housing. The motor housing is designed for natural convection or surface cooling.
